Composting procedure with MY GREEN BIN
Certainly, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use our dual bin aerobic digester:
- Prepare the Bin: Spread a 1-inch layer of My Green Microbes at the bottom of the bin to kick-start the composting process.
- Layer Waste: Add 3 to 4 inches of kitchen and food waste to the bin, ensuring an even distribution.
- Apply Microbes: Spread My Green Microbes evenly on top of the waste layer to accelerate decomposition.
- Repeat: Continue alternating layers of waste and My Green Microbes, adding 3 to 4 inches of waste each time, until the bin is filled.
- Composting: Once the first bin is full, cover it with a layer of microbes and let it compost for 30 to 40 days.
- Start Second Bin: Begin the same process in the second bin while the first one undergoes composting, ensuring a continuous cycle of compost production.
- Alternating Use: Switch between the two bins as they fill up, allowing one to compost while the other receives fresh waste. This ensures a steady supply of rich manure for your gardening needs.
