Composting procedure with MY GREEN BIN

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use our dual bin aerobic digester efficiently:

1. Prepare the Bin: Start by spreading a 1-inch layer of My Green Microbes at the bottom of the bin. This creates a conducive environment for composting.
2. Layer Waste: Add 3 to 4 inches of waste to the bin, creating the first layer of compostable material.
3. Add Microbes: Spread My Green Microbes evenly on top of the waste layer. This helps accelerate the composting process.
4. Repeat Process: Continue layering waste and My Green Microbes, alternating between the two until the bin is filled to capacity.
5. Composting: Once the first bin is full, cover it with a layer of microbes and leave it for composting. This allows the organic material to decompose and transform into nutrient-rich compost.
6. Start Second Bin: Begin the same process in the second bin, filling it with waste and My Green Microbes.
7. Alternate Use: As one bin undergoes composting, the other can be used to continue adding waste. This alternating usage ensures a continuous supply of rich manure for your gardening needs.

You can compost a variety of organic materials in our GRB 5000 – 5000 ltr Bulk digester, including Cooked food, Uncooked food, Tea bags, Coffee dust, Fruits & Fruit peels, Vegetable peels, Flower waste, Egg shells (Crushed), Paper bits, Garden waste, Saw dust, Ashes.

Things not to go into My Green Bin

• Sanitary napkins, Disposable Diapers, Bandages or any materials contaminated with blood.
• Dry waste: Glass, Wire, Cloth, Fabric, Leather, Rubber, Thermocol, Plastic, Metal, Paper, Wood, Rexine.
• E-Waste and Hazardous Waste: Tube lights, Bulbs, Batteries, Electronic waste, Paints, Cleaning agents, Oil, Aerosol cans, Cosmetics, Syringes, Insecticides, Tablets (medicines), Thermometers.

These items can either contaminate the compost or pose environmental and health risks if composted. It’s essential to dispose of them properly according to local regulations.
