With our dual bin concept, you fill one bin with waste, which typically takes 35 to 40 days. Once full, switch to the other bin while the first one composts for 30 to 40 days. It’s a simple and efficient way to manage your kitchen waste while creating valuable compost for your garden.

APPLICATION AREAS

 Composting procedure with MY GREEN BIN

• Prepare the Bin: Begin by spreading a 1-inch layer of My Green Microbes at the bottom of the bin.
• Add Waste: Next, add 3 to 4 inches of kitchen waste to the bin.
• Spread Microbes: Evenly spread My Green Microbes on top of the waste layer.
• Repeat: Continue the process by adding another 3 to 4 inches of waste followed by a layer of My Green Microbes.
• Fill the Bin: Repeat the alternating layers of waste and microbes until the bin is full.
• Composting: Once the first bin is filled, cover it with a layer of microbes and leave it to compost.
• Start with the Second Bin: Begin the same process in the second bin while the first one undergoes composting.
• Alternate Usage: Both bins can be used interchangeably, ensuring a continuous supply of rich manure for your garden.

What to compost?

You can compost a variety of organic materials in our GRC800 aerobic digester, including Cooked food, Uncooked food, Tea bags, Coffee dust, Fruits & Fruit peels, Vegetable peels, Flower waste, Egg shells (Crushed), Paper bits, Garden waste, Saw dust, Ashes.

Things not to go into My Green Bin

• Sanitary napkins, Disposable Diapers, Bandages or any materials contaminated with blood
• Dry waste: Glass, Wire, Cloth, Fabric, Leather, Rubber, Thermocol, Plastic, Metal, Paper, Wood, Rexine.
• E-Waste and Hazardous Waste: Tube lights, Bulbs, Batteries, Electronic waste, Paints, Cleaning agents, Oil, Aerosol cans, Cosmetics, Syringes, Insecticides, Tablets (medicines), Thermometers.
  

These items can either contaminate the compost or pose environmental and health risks if composted. It’s essential to dispose of them properly according to local regulations.
