Made with durable FRP material, the bin ensures long-lasting performance and stability. Here’s how it works: fill up one bin with your kitchen waste, which typically takes about 35 to 40 days. Once it’s full, switch to the other bin while the first one undergoes composting for another 30 to 40 days.

Composting procedure with MY GREEN BIN

Here’s a simplified step-by-step guide on how to use our dual bin aerobic digester effectively:

1. Prepare the Bin: Start by spreading a 1-inch layer of My Green Microbes at the bottom of the bin. This helps kick-start the composting process.
2. Layer the Waste: Add 3 to 4 inches of kitchen waste to the bin. Make sure to spread it evenly across the surface.
3. Apply Microbes: Sprinkle My Green Microbes evenly over the waste layer. This helps accelerate decomposition and neutralize odors.
4. Repeat the Process: Continue adding 3 to 4 inches of waste followed by a layer of My Green Microbes. Repeat this process until the bin is full.
5. Composting: Once the first bin is full, leave it aside for composting. Cover it with a layer of microbes to aid in decomposition.
6. Start with the Second Bin: Begin the same process in the second bin while the first one composts. This ensures a continuous cycle of composting.
7. Alternate Usage: Both bins can be used alternately, allowing one to compost while the other is being filled. This way, you consistently generate rich manure for your garden or plants.

You can compost a variety of organic materials in our GRC600 dual bin aerobic digester, including Cooked food, Uncooked food, Tea bags, Coffee dust, Fruits & Fruit peels, Vegetable peels, Flower waste, Egg shells (Crushed), Paper bits, Garden waste, Saw dust, Ashes.

Things not to go into My Green Bin

• Sanitary napkins, Disposable Diapers, Bandages or any materials contaminated with blood.
• Dry waste: Glass, Wire, Cloth, Fabric, Leather, Rubber, Thermocol, Plastic, Metal, Paper, Wood, Rexine.
• E-Waste and Hazardous Waste: Tube lights, Bulbs, Batteries, Electronic waste, Paints, Cleaning agents, Oil, Aerosol cans, Cosmetics, Syringes, Insecticides, Tablets (medicines), Thermometers.

These items can either contaminate the compost or pose environmental and health risks if composted. It’s essential to dispose of them properly according to local regulations.
