- GRC400 is a 400-litre Community Composter designed for community composting in Apartments and Gated communities.
- It is aesthetically and functionally designed to compost all kitchen and food waste efficiently.
- Hassle-free, easy to use, and easy to maintain, it effortlessly converts organic waste into organic manure.
- Each composter can digest up to 20 kg of waste per day, producing 25-30 litres of compost (manure) and collecting 100 to 150 kg of bio-booster.
- The bin size is 2 feet 3 inches by 2 feet 3 inches by 3 feet 6 inches.
- The dual bin of GRC400 is suitable for up to 30 families, and for larger communities, multiples of the above can be used.
- It can be installed in setback spaces, open areas, or on terraces.

Composting procedure with MY GREEN BIN
Here’s a simplified step-by-step guide for using our dual bin aerobic digester:
- Prepare the Bin:
- Spread a 1-inch layer of My Green Microbes at the bottom of the bin.
- Layering Waste:
- Add 3 to 4 inches of waste to the bin.
- Spread My Green Microbes evenly on the top of the waste.
- Repeat the process: add another 3 to 4 inches of waste, then spread My Green Microbes again.
- Continue this process until the bin fills up.
- Composting Process:
- Once the first bin is filled, leave it for composting by covering it with a layer of microbes.
- Switch to the Second Bin:
- Begin the same process in the second bin, following the steps above.
- Alternate Usage:
- Both bins can be used alternatively, allowing one to compost while the other receives fresh waste.
- This cycle ensures a continuous supply of rich manure for your gardening needs.
What to compost?
You can compost a variety of organic materials in our GRC400 dual bin aerobic digester, including Cooked food, Uncooked food, Tea bags, Coffee dust, Fruits & Fruit peels, Vegetable peels, Flower waste, Egg shells (Crushed), Paper bits, Garden waste, Saw dust, Ashes.
Things not to go into My Green Bin
- Sanitary napkins, Disposable Diapers, Bandages or any materials contaminated with blood.
- Dry waste: Glass, Wire, Cloth, Fabric, Leather, Rubber, Thermocol, Plastic, Metal, Paper, Wood, Rexine.
- E-Waste and Hazardous Waste: Tube lights, Bulbs, Batteries, Electronic waste, Paints, Cleaning agents, Oil, Aerosol cans, Cosmetics, Syringes, Insecticides, Tablets (medicines), Thermometers.
These items can either contaminate the compost or pose environmental and health risks if composted. It’s essential to dispose of them properly according to local regulations.
